Dr. Theekshana Pathirana is a Sri Lankan Consultant Surgical Oncologist with advanced subspecialty training in Breast Surgery and Oncoplastic Reconstruction as well as in peritoneal ,colorectal and head and neck cancer surgery from the United Kingdom. His practice focuses on delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care for both benign and malignant breast conditions, combining cancer control with optimal cosmetic outcomes.

Professional Background

Dr. Pathirana graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, and completed his internship at Colombo North Teaching Hospital. He obtained his MD in Surgery (University of Colombo) and subsequently completed Post-MD training in Surgical Oncology at Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama.

Before moving to the United Kingdom in 2023, he served as:
